WordPress SEO & GEO questions
What does WordPress SEO include?
The scope can cover technical SEO, metadata, headings, content structure, internal linking, Search Console analysis and implementation. Basic includes basic SEO; advanced SEO and GEO are included in Business and WooCommerce.
What is GEO?
Generative Engine Optimization is the practice of making website information clearer to retrieve, understand and reference in AI-driven search and answer systems. It overlaps with technical SEO, useful content, entity clarity and structured information.
Does installing an SEO plugin improve rankings automatically?
No. Plugins help manage settings and editorial checks, but results depend on the website, its content, technical implementation and the wider search environment.
Does Hostnary guarantee Google rankings?
No. Hostnary works on technical and content improvements and measures search performance, but does not guarantee rankings.
Can GEO guarantee AI citations?
No. AI systems decide which information to retrieve, cite or recommend. GEO work can improve clarity and visibility measurement without guaranteeing placement.
Is technical SEO included?
Yes, within the selected plan scope. Basic includes basic technical and on-page SEO setup; Business adds advanced SEO and monthly audits, while WooCommerce includes weekly audits and ecommerce-focused optimization.
Does Hostnary use Google Search Console?
Yes. Search Console integration is included in the current plans, with query, page and indexing data used for analysis and opportunity identification according to plan scope.
Is keyword tracking included?
Managed WP Business includes tracking for up to 50 keywords. Managed WooCommerce includes up to 200. The Basic plan does not include those advanced keyword-tracking allowances.
Does Hostnary implement SEO changes or only provide audits?
Hostnary can implement approved WordPress, metadata, content, linking and technical changes within the managed plan scope and available development capacity.
Is SEO available for WooCommerce?
Yes. Managed WooCommerce includes product and category optimization, weekly SEO audits, competitor gap analysis, off-page opportunity research, ecommerce analytics and advanced SEO and GEO. Paid placements and third-party costs are outside the included opportunity analysis.
